In late 2015, Mario NR. Sparkes established MS Tech Solutions, a firm specializing in ICT consulting. He later launched two start-ups, Purple Team LLC and AITIX LLC, contributing to the formation of the Optimity Group of companies. Specializing in cybersecurity, Purple Team LLC provides managed security services throughout the Caribbean and North America. AITIX LLC is an innovative platform delivering advanced ticketing, access control, cashless payments, and valuable data insights to a global customer base in the events, tourism, and sports sectors. Mario serves in the dual capacity of CEO and CTO, overseeing the strategic direction of the group and ensuring its commitment to delivering best in class value, service, and innovation to its customers. His 20+ year tenure in the IT and Security industry has furnished him with extensive knowledge and expertise. Having served in leadership roles in major telecoms giants such Nortel Networks and Avaya, he brings a wealth of operational and technical knowledge to the Group. As a proud alumnus of the University of the West Indies, Mario is currently pursuing a PhD in Cybersecurity Management with a focus on cybersecurity strategy in developing countries.
